#1). The “American Tradition”: Pre – 1933 Gold
Only a small percentage of “Pre-1933” Gold Coins survived the confiscation of U.S. gold in 1933. These gold coins provide both “gold value” and “scarcity” value for the investor today. They are protected and authenticated in sonically sealed, encapsulated holders, certified by independent laboratories and grading services PCGS (Professional Coin Grading Service) or NGC (Numismatic Guaranty Corporation), both Nationally recognized as industry standards. They are completely private; neither SSN# when purchased, nor 1099 when they are sold is required.
St. Gaudens Double Eagle Gold Coin

The St. Gaudens Double Eagle is a Twenty Dollar Gold Coin, or Double Eagle, produced by the United States Mint from 1907 to 1933. The St. Gaudens is named after its designer, the sculptor Augustus St. Gaudens, who designed the obverse and reverse. St. Gaudens' mark appears on the obverse of the coin under the date. The double eagle design was voted the best American gold coin design and is currently used on American gold bullion coinage.

#3). European Pre - 1933 Gold
Swiss 20 Franc Gold Coin

One of the world's most known and universally accepted gold coins. This coinage series was authorized on January 6, 1896. The name of the coin derives from "Verena", a personification of the Confederation of Switzerland in the female effigy. The coin is also known as a Helvetia from the inscription above the portrait. The coins issued between 1897 and 1949.
French 20 Franc Rooster Gold Coin

The Gallic rooster (French: le coq gaulois) is a national symbol it gained particular popularity during the French Revolution, and has been a national emblem ever since. The rooster was featured on the reverse of French 20-franc gold pieces from 1899 to 1914. The original mintage of these gold coins was fairly limited. Scarcity was increased by the melting of millions of gold 20 Francs during the 1930's after private ownership of gold was outlawed in the United States. Even more were melted in the 1970's and 80's when gold soared to $850 per ounce. Surviving French 20 Franc Rooster gold coins are especially desirable today.
British Sovereign Gold Coin

In Victorian times it was the practice of the Bank of England to remove worn sovereigns and half sovereigns from circulation and have them recoined. Consequently, although a billion sovereigns have been minted in total, that figure includes gold that has been coined and recoined a number of times. When gold coins were finally withdrawn from circulation in 1933 in the US, many thousands of British gold sovereigns were consigned to the melting pot in this way.
